UBC health economics experts design and implement studies and
conduct analyses to quantify the burden of illness, evaluate the
cost-effectiveness of health care interventions, assess budgetary
impact, and document economic advantage and value.
We provide strategic health economics support throughout the product
lifecycle, from early pre-launch planning to launch and
post-marketing management. Our focus is on helping clients build
economic evidence to demonstrate and support the value of their
products.
Our studies are used to:
- Inform pricing and formulary inclusion decisions
- Examine bottom line effects on a plan’s budget and population
health benefit
- Compare the value of a biopharmaceutical, device or other
products to alternative interventions or treatment strategies
- Estimate longer-term impact of therapy when only short-term data
are available
- Support dossier submission to regulatory authorities
