August 2004 UBC acquires PharmAnalysis Group Inc., an Arlington, VA -based provider of reimbursement planning for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and diagnostics industries; PharmAnalysis Group Inc. becomes the MEDTAP Center for Pricing and Reimbursement. January 2005 UBC launches its Epidemiology and Risk Management consulting practice led by Gerald Faich, MD, MPH, FISPE, the former Director of the Office of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Annette Stemhagen, DrPH, FISPE. January 2005 UBC opens an office in Ambler, Pennsylvania. March 2005 UBC acquires DynaRand LLC, a San Francisco, California-based provider of interactive voice response (IVR) and web systems for clinical research. March 2005 DataPhaseIV and BBCI become United BioSource Corporation's Late Stage Group. June 2005 UBC launches its business development group based in Ambler, PA. January 2005 UBC integrates its business units under a single brand name. MEDTAP, PharmaStar, and DynaRand begin operating as “United BioSource Corporation”. UBC forms its Health Care Analytics Group, Training and Education Group, and Clinical Technologies Group. March 2006 UBC acquires MetaWorks Inc., a leading provider of systematic reviews and meta-analyses to inform development, marketing, and regulatory decision-making regarding health care products and services. June 2006 UBC acquires Muse & Associates, a Washington, DC-based consulting firm specializing in Medicare and Medicaid cost estimates and projections, policy analysis, reimbursement and coding, and market analysis. September 2006 UBC acquires Bioniche Global Learning, a leading provider of training and education services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. March 2007 United BioSource and Goldman Sachs hosted an expert panel to discuss innovation in pharmaceutical clinical trial design. August 2007 UBC established an office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Capabilities include data management, bio-statistics, medical writing and regulatory consulting. September 2007 UBC acquired an ownership interest in ClinResearch GmbH, a global leader in technology solutions and services for flexible, or adaptive, clinical trials. September 2007 UBC acquired Caro Research, Inc., a leading provider of simulation technologies that help pharmaceutical and life science companies assess costs and benefits associated with health care. |
