Overview

UBC evaluates the economic value of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and other health care interventions. We design and implement health economics research and analysis to:

• Evaluate cost-effectiveness and budget impact of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and other interventions;
• Deliver scientific evidence to document economic advantages and overall value of health care products and interventions;
• Quantify burden of illness;
• Provide analysis and advice regarding health care policies and regulations.

Scientists from the UBC's Center for Health Economics & Policy have broad experience documenting the value and cost-effectiveness of biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and other health care interventions. We offer worldwide scientific capabilities and experience and deliver our services from locations throughout North America and Europe.

UBC's Health Care Analytics Group integrates health economics with outcomes research and pricing and reimbursement capabilities to demonstrate the value provided by innovative biopharmaceuticals and other health care interventions.
