UBC’s epidemiologists can quantify the incidence and prevalence of diseases and comorbidities, determine the incidence of adverse events, and identify and quantify the impact of risk factors that may be associated with different diseases or treatments. Knowing these relationships between patient, drug, clinical and disease factors can significantly aid clients in addressing potential drug-event causal relationships or in building stronger evidence-based value messages.
