Jess Sohal

Executive Director Clinical Operations, Europe

Ms. Sohal is the Executive Director of Clinical Operations in Europe for UBC. Ms. Sohal has over 15 years of experience in the clinical research arena, holding Senior Management Positions with experience across multiple therapeutic areas. Ms Sohal has held leadership positions in R&D, Clinical Operations and Business Development. Ms. Sohal is responsible for the strategic operational oversight of all European activities ensuring the European teams follow rapid study start up procedures with effective multi-disciplinary internal team communication, SOP adherence and ensuring appropriate regulatory procedures are followed in the targeted European countries. Ms. Sohal is also experienced in supervising European studies under the launch/direction of a US client and has a proven track record of facilitating complex problem solving and consensus building.

Previously, Ms. Sohal has held pivotal senior roles of increasing responsibility in both privately held and corporate businesses in the Clinical Research sector. She is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in late stage programs in Europe, bringing exceptional abilities in leadership and project oversight to her role as Executive Director of Clinical Operations in the European arena.

Ms. Sohal holds a Masters Degree in Biology from the University of Manchester and a Higher National Diploma in Biology & Chemistry from Lancashire University in the United Kingdom.
