Norman Sartorius

Professor Sartorius holds professorial appointments at the Universities of Geneva, Prague and Zagreb and at several other universities in Europe, the USA and China. He is also a Senior Associate of the Faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore. Prof. Satorius also served as the former president of both the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) and the European Association of Psychiatrists (EAP).

Dr. Sartorius has published more than 300 articles in scientific journals, co-authored several books and edited numerous others.

Prof. Satorius obtained his MD in Zagreb (Croatia). He specialized in neurology and psychiatry and subsequently obtained a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in psychology.
