Luba Nalysnyk, MD, MPH

Medical Director and Senior Research Scientist

Luba Nalysnyk, MD, serves as principal investigator on UBC’s systematic review and meta-analysis projects. She brings to UBC extensive experience in conducting research projects in various areas of medicine, such as cardiovascular, psychiatrics, pediatrics, respiratory, oncology, hematology, rheumatoid arthritis, orthopedics and infectious diseases.

An internationally trained clinical epidemiologist, Dr. Nalysnyk previously worked for several years for the Department of Public Health and the General Hospital in Zolochiv, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. A published author, she has been in several journals, including Chest, Heart, and Pharmacotherapy.

Dr. Nalysnyk received her MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University’s School of Public Health and her MD from the Lviv State Medical University.
