Dr. Karbe-Lauener provides support for safety-related aspects of studies and projects, including client drug safety monitoring boards (DSMB) and end point and safety monitoring committees.

Kerstin is a co-founder of HPM Healthcare & Project Management (Geneva) SA. Before joining HPM, she owned and operated a private medical practice in Germany. Areas of interest included microbiology and anti-infective therapy. During that time, she gained experience serving as an investigator in clinical research programs and completed several Good Clinical Practice training programs. During her career, Kerstin has served as consultant to many pharmaceutical companies. Kerstin obtained her medical degree from the University of Magdeburg (Germany), and holds a certificate of specialist in urology and pharmaceutical medicine.
