Beth Hahn, PhD, is responsible for project management and strategic consulting and research for pharmaceutical and medical device clients. Her expertise is in pricing, reimbursement research, health economics and outcomes research, and tactical implementation across all segments of managed care for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
During 10 years with GlaxoSmithKline, Dr. Hahn held a variety of positions in both the commercial and R&D organizations. On the commercial side, she developed and implemented reimbursement strategies with brand marketing, field sales and managed care groups. For R&D, she designed and conducted health outcomes studies within the clinical trials program, developed reimbursement dossiers and directed the creation of health economic models. Dr. Hahn has conducted research in a broad range of therapeutic areas, including neurology, psychiatry and gastroenterology.
Her experience also includes four years as a medical sociologist with the Agency for Health Policy and Research where she conducted health outcomes research using the National Medical Expenditure Survey. Her research focused on the impact of insurance on access to care, health status and utilization, as well as barriers to care.
Dr. Hahn received her B.A. from University of Iowa and her PhD from the University of Illinois.
