Wenda Brennan, RPh

Director, Pharmacovigilance

Wenda Brennan directs the safety staff at UBC, manages the safety department and provides input in pharmacovigilance plans and risk management plans.

Bringing over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to UBC, Ms. Brennan has worked on clinical trial design, project management and data collection. With expertise in safety monitoring and risk management across a variety of therapeutic areas, she implemented the pre-approval Clozapine Risk Management Plan, and designed and implemented the iPLEDGE Risk Management Program. In addition, she directed the safety reporting activities for the product recalls of Phen/Fen and Rezulin, overseeing CRO clinical and post-marketing safety reporting departments.

Ms. Brennan serves as an adjunct faculty PharmD preceptor at the University of the Sciences and teaches pharmavcovigilance for the Clinical Trials Management Course at the University of Delaware.

Ms. Brennan received her BS in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.
